Al Romm Interdisciplinary Journalism Scholarship

Established in honor of Al Romm, the Al Romm Interdisciplinary Journalism Scholarship awards one (1) scholarship in the amount of $1,000 each year to a graduating senior from any Orange County high school who plans to pursue a career in journalism.

Applicants must plan to enroll at an accredited university that offers a journalism degree and demonstrate strong academic performance, including success in higher-level mathematics coursework. This scholarship also emphasizes interdisciplinary learning, encouraging students to build foundational knowledge in history, statistics, and political science as part of their college studies.
