Orange County Youth Football and Cheerleading Scholarship

The Orange County Youth Football and Cheerleading Scholarship awards up to five (5) scholarships in the amount of $500 each to graduating seniors who have demonstrated long-term commitment to the Orange County Youth Football and Cheerleading program. This scholarship recognizes student-athletes whose participation has contributed to their academic growth, personal development, and future goals.

The scholarship is open to graduating seniors from most Orange County school districts, with the exception of Monroe-Woodbury. Eligible students from Monticello, Wallkill, and Marlboro are also encouraged to apply.

Eligibility & Application Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be a graduating senior from an eligible Orange County school district
    (excluding Monroe-Woodbury; including John S. Burke High School, Chapel Field Christian, Monticello, Wallkill, and Marlboro)
  • Have participated in the Orange County Youth Football and Cheerleading program for multiple years
  • Plan to attend a two- or four-year college upon graduation
  • Submit an essay of 250 words or fewer describing:
    • How participation in the Football or Cheerleading program influenced their growth as a student
    • The impact of the program on their academics, personal development, or future goals, with specific examples

Students must create a profile in the CFOSR Scholarship Portal to view and apply for scholarship opportunities connected to this fund. Once logged in, applicants will be able to access the Universal Scholarship Application and submit any required materials.
