Created by the Trustees of the Parker Educational Trust, this fund provides scholarships to residents of Orange and Sullivan Counties who plan to pursue higher education at either SUNY Orange, Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine – Middletown, NY, or Mount Saint Mary College.

Roy D. Parker Education Scholarship

The Roy D. Parker Education Scholarship awards scholarships in varying amounts each year to residents of Orange and Sullivan Counties who plan to pursue higher education at SUNY Orange, Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine – Middletown, NY, or Mount Saint Mary College. This scholarship supports students committed to advancing their education through accredited degree or certificate programs at these institutions.

Eligibility & Application Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be a resident of Orange County or Sullivan County
• Be enrolled in, or planning to enroll in, one of the following institutions:
  • SUNY Orange
  • Mount Saint Mary College
  • Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine – Middletown, NY
• Be matriculated in a degree or certificate program
• Be enrolled as a full-time student, defined as a minimum of 12 credits per semester
• Submit an essay of 500 words or fewer explaining why they believe they are a deserving candidate for this scholarship
• Submit additional information of 500 words or fewer outlining any details they believe are important for the scholarship committee to consider

Students must create a profile in the CFOSR Scholarship Portal to view and apply for scholarship opportunities connected to this fund. Once logged in, applicants will be able to access the Universal Scholarship Application and submit any required materials.
