Servant’s Heart Scholarship Fund

The Servant’s Heart Scholarship Fund is a one-time, $2,500 award created to support college and trade school students who are active members of Goodwill Church and committed to serving others through Christian ministry and service. The fund aims to ease the financial burden for sophomores, juniors, and seniors who demonstrate academic progress, financial need, and a strong dedication to using their time and talents to benefit their church and community.


A Servant’s Heart Scholarship

The A Servant’s Heart Scholarship supports members of Goodwill Church who are pursuing higher education or vocational training while demonstrating a commitment to service, leadership, and community involvement.

A one-time scholarship award of $2,500 will be awarded to a deserving applicant enrolled in an accredited college, university, or trade school.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be a current member of Goodwill Church
  • Be a sophomore, junior, or senior enrolled in an accredited academic college or trade school for the upcoming academic year
  • Submit a transcript demonstrating satisfactory academic progress toward a degree or certificate
  • Demonstrate financial need and/or a commitment to service within their church or community

Preference may be given to applicants experiencing financial hardship and those demonstrating a commitment to Christian service, particularly within Goodwill Church.

Application Information

Applicants must first create a profile within the Community Foundation scholarship portal. Eligible applicants will receive an access code directly from the fund representative to access the application.

  • Award Notification: Applicants will be notified via email by August 31, 2026
