Sunna Rasch Memorial Scholarship for Excellence in the Performing Arts

The Sunna Rasch Memorial Scholarship for Excellence in the Performing Arts is awarded annually through the Periwinkle Fund for the Arts to support graduating high school seniors from Sullivan County who are pursuing a degree in the performing arts. One (1) scholarship in the amount of $2,000 is awarded each year to a student who has demonstrated passion, commitment, and promise in the performing arts or arts education.

Eligibility & Application Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be a graduating high school senior from Sullivan County
• Plan to pursue further education in the performing arts or arts education, including but not limited to performing, writing, composing, design, direction, business, marketing, or teaching
• Demonstrate passion, commitment, and promise in some aspect of the performing arts
• Submit one (1) strong letter of recommendation from a high school teacher, drama coach, or other relevant professional
• Submit an essay of no more than 300 words explaining why they are a deserving candidate for this award, reflecting on academic achievements, creative pursuits, personal values, or dedication to the arts

Students must create a profile in the CFOSR Scholarship Portal to view and apply for scholarship opportunities connected to this fund. Once logged in, applicants will be able to access the Universal Scholarship Application and submit all required materials.
