Philanthropy Day Nominations

Nominate a Local Star for a
Philanthropy Day Award!

Philanthropy Day Awards honor those unsung heroes who are working to create a more caring Rockland County, but who are often overlooked at bigger ceremonies.

We are now accepting nominations for award recipients for this year’s 26th Anniversary Philanthropy Day Breakfast, on Thursday, November 5, 2026 at the Pearl River Hilton. Please consider nominating an unsung hero from your non-profit organization, corporation or community.

We are happy to announce that the following awards will be distributed to/on behalf of this year’s winners:

  • Youth in Philanthropy Award – $500 scholarship to the winner (if there are multiple winners, $1,000 to be divided among them) to be used to continue the winner’s education or philanthropic goals. The fund advisors have the discretion to distribute the funds for any minor (under 18) to the winner’s parent or legal guardian.
  • Non-Profit or Fundraising Professional of the Year/Corporate Leadership of the Year/Volunteer of the Year/Philanthropist of the Year – $500 will be donated to a Rockland nonprofit of the winner’s choice. One donation of $500 per category.
